HAMPTON, NH – Seacoast United Sports Club Inc. announces Greg Cosgrove will join its Soccer Club coaching staff effective October 2018

Cosgrove brings an extensive coaching resume to Seacoast United, where he will have an immediate impact on the Boys’ Development Academy and Girls’ NPL programs for the 2018/19 season.  Future roles will include him transitioning to the Girls DA program for the 2019/20 season.

Greg holds the USSF “A” license, as well as the NSCAA Premier and Director of Coaching Diplomas to accompany his 20+ years’ experience in the youth soccer landscape in Massachusetts and the US ODP/Region I programs.

“My goal is to positively contribute to the entire Seacoast United organization.  I have played against Seacoast United for multiple years and have always respected their professionalism as a whole, and I’m extremely excited to now be a part of this culture”, said Cosgrove.  Read his full bio here.

Greg will be working closely with Chris Scott and Peter Decker, Seacoast United’s Girls’ Development Academy and Boys’ Development Academy Directors, to help advance both programs.

"Seacoast is the only club in our region that offers the US Development Academy program on both the boys and girls side.  Its the highest level for youth players.  Having an opportunity to be involved made my decision to join very easy," added Cosgrove.

“Greg will be an excellent addition to the Seacoast United soccer program.  As an “A” licensed coach with knowledge of the local scene, he is the perfect fit for both parties,” commented Iain Scott, Seacoast United’s Director of Soccer Operations.
